Kenneth Conner

Kenneth Conner was born in Danville Pennsylvania in 1951.  He attended the York Academy of Arts, where his major artistic influences included Maya Schock, Ted Fitzkee, Mike Klinedinst and Otmar Carli.

In 1978, Kenneth founded the “Spring Thaw” Art Show & Sale in his hometown.  This non-competitive community exhibition has become a popular annual event that he continues to coordinate.  Kenneth had a one-man exhibition at Bloomsburg University in Bloomsburg Pennsylvania; and he has participated in the Montachusett Regional Art Exhibit, where he earned two awards (Best of Show and First Place in his category) in Leominster, Massachusetts; the Fitchburg Art Museum in Fitchburg, Massachusetts; The Marino Center in Wellesley, Massachusetts (Honorable Mention); and he recently had a show of recent work with the Newton Philharmonia in Newton Center.

A Boston Massachusetts freedom trail marker is the back drop for Ken Conner's business card.
